From March to the end of November, the museum is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Other hours and special tours may be arranged through the museum volunteer staff.
The entrance from the rear parking lot has a ramp on the museum’s main floor. Stairs lead to the basement, second, and third floors; there is no elevator.
Three different rooms in our museum are dedicated to the men and women who served in the military. One room features a treasure trove of information about the Civil War, complete with records, photos, ration books, and maps. Another house’s military uniforms, newspapers, photographs, and equipment about World War I & II, and other military conflicts. The third room contains medals and military honors donated by different families for posterity.
